Children's Programs

Reinstatement of select in-person programs are being carefully considered. Please keep in mind some in-person programs have been reinstated, while others continue to be hosted online. Registration for online and in-person events is required.

The Seguin Public Library Youth Services Department provides programs for children so that they may come to know the library as a place of adventure and discovery. Programs include:
 

Interactive storytimes that support early literacy for children ages 0-5

  • Literature, STEM, and arts-based programming for children of all ages including:
    • Science & Art Kits to pick up and complete at home
    • Kids Discover allows children to have hands-on fun with science demonstrations and experiments
    • Chess Club encourages children to develop strategy and critical thinking in an informal learning environment
  • Annual Summer Reading Experience to support summer learning
  • 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program to encourage parents and caregivers to read aloud to children
  • See Seguin See Seguin with us!  We are taking you to see different groups and businesses across our community.
