Walk with a Naturalist at Park West

SEGUIN, Texas - The City of Seguin Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Guadalupe Master Naturalists to offer “Walk with a Naturalist,” a program for the community on Tuesdays in April, through June 2022 at Park West, 601 N. Vaughan Ave., in Seguin. The free, one-hour walking program will cover nearly a mile at a leisurely pace.

Master Naturalists are volunteers trained by Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Service to teach people about nature. Each week the leading naturalist will point out various natural resources at Park West.

A naturalist will meet walkers at the Park’s Splash Pad every Tuesday.  Morning walks will be held on the first, second and fourth Tuesdays at 9 am through the months of April, May and June. Evening walks  are held every third Tuesday beginning at 7 pm.

Trails are wheelchair accessible. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are available. Proper footwear is recommended. No reservation is required.

All ages are welcome to attend. There is no cost to attend or participate.
