Crowds of flag-waving people will line Austin Street for the annual Biggest Small-Town Fourth of July Parade in Texas at 10 a.m. The exact year this event started is unknown, but each year this celebration gets bigger and better! Past crowd estimates have exceeded 10,000. There will be more than a hundred parade entries including floats from local businesses, elected officials, churches, schools, military representatives, and more.
The parade route starts at the intersection of Austin and College Streets and ends at the Seguin Coliseum, with all the entries traveling south along Austin Street.

You are invited to be a judge at the 48th Annual Texas Ladies Chili Championship held in Seguin, TX on April 21, 2018. This is the largest women's chili cook off in the world with over 200 women competing. Festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. with games, craft vendors, food & drink vendors, music, a silent auction, raffle, and kids' activities. The judging will begin at 1:00 p.m. If you would like to judge, you are asked to arrive by 12:30 p.m.
Over 300 judges are needed to determine who will take home the crown. On average you will judge 10 to 12 chili recipes during your tasting experience. No judging experience is necessary, just a taste for chili. Beverages and condiments are provided for your judging pleasure. Judging is fun and filling! We encourage you to register yourself and your friends and family.
Those who register for judging will have preferential seating assignments. The sooner you register, the higher round you will judge. There is likely to be 6 rounds of judging, with the Final Table being the last round. Judging will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, April 21, 2018.
