Notice is hereby given that the Seguin City Council will consider the approval of a tax abatement agreement on October 19, 2021 with the applicant, Tyson Foods, Inc. The property subject to the agreement is certain improvements and additional equipment to property currently owned by Tyson Foods, Inc. Said property subject to the agreement is located 1200 West Kingsbury Street, Seguin, Texas and is designated as Seguin Reinvestment Zone #6. Seguin Reinvestment Zone #6 includes a tract of land containing 35.560 acres, more or less, and is described as follows:
Land and improvements described by property ID number 44600 in the Guadalupe Appraisal District consisting of approximately 35.560 acres in Seguin, TX;
The applicant is proposing to make new real and personal property improvements to their existing manufacturing facility at the subject property. Said property improvements to be the subject of the tax abatement will cost an estimated $58,000,000.00.
