Holiday Stroll


Seguin's Annual Holiday Stroll starts the first Thursday after Thanksgiving and goes all weekend long.

Holiday Stroll Parade
This year's Holiday Stroll festivities kick off on Thursday, November 29, 2018 with the Holiday Stroll Parade. The parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of College and Austin Streets and heads south on Austin Street to downtown Seguin.  Thursday will also include food vendors, pictures with Santa, and entertainment from the Seguin High School Band.

Sip N Stroll

Stroll through downtown tasting over a dozen varieties of homemade hot chocolate.  On Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Seguin's downtown businesses will keep their doors open late for some shopping and sipping on hot chocolate. Other activities in downtown will include live entertainment from the Seguin High School Star Steppers, horse drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa, a wiggle waggle train ride, and a variety of food vendors. 2018 holiday mug will be available at a number of downtown merchants.  Application to be a food vendor can be found here 

 
North Pole Stroll and Jingle Bell 5K

North Pole Stroll will be held on Saturday, December 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and promises to be a family friendly affair in downtown Seguin.  A variety of nonprofit organizations will be hosting activities for children in Central Park including pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, letters to Santa, and much more. Throughout the day, entertainment will be going on in the Central Park Band Stand.

Prior to the North Pole Stroll, go for a jog with the Jingle Bell 5K starting in Central Park and continuing along the Walnut Springs Trail.  Register for the run on Athlete Guild.
