SEGUIN, Texas - Congratulations to Code Compliance Officers Chuck Just and Gina Gregory for sharing Employee of the Month honors for April 2023!
City Manager Steve Parker recently presented Chuck and Gina with their awards. Their award nomination highlighted the duo's positive attitudes, great work ethic, exemplary teamwork and top-notch customer service. Code Enforcement is not an easy job, with property owners often resistant to anyone telling them what they can and cannot do with their property - but Chuck and Gina consistently handle these situations with understanding and grace.
Both Chuck and Gina have experienced a range of environmental messes - from hoarding and buckets of human waste to homes with deceased bodies - situations that can make the "best" not want to come to work - but they arrive at work with smiles on their faces everyday ready to get the job done.
