Overview
The Zoning Board of Adjustments consists of five regular members with two alternate members who are a Mayor appointed and City-Council-approved body that acts on requests for Zoning Ordinance variances and special exceptions. The Board is a quasi-judicial body and acts independently of the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.
Members shall be appointed for a maximum of two consecutive three-year terms. Members shall reside in the corporate city limits.
