Teen volunteers help the Youth Librarians run activities and games at the library's summer reading events. Sometimes they help create flyers, prepare crafts, fold pamphlets, clean toys, and other activities.
Teens can also earn service hours by serving on the Teen Advisory Board. Complete the volunteer application below, and bring it to the public library front desk or email it. We will be in touch when we need volunteer assistance. Please email us at library@seguintexas.gov to inquire about the status of your volunteer application and if you need a particular number of service hours.
If you need a certain number of service hours, please do not wait until the last minute. We can only provide 1-2 hours of volunteer opportunities per week.
