Moonlight and Roses

MOONLIGHT & ROSES, DOWNTOWNER OF THE YEAR, FRIDAY, APRIL 20

Moonlight and Roses will be held in the Memorial Rose Garden on Friday, April 20 from 7-9 p.m.  The Memorial Rose Garden is located in Walnut Springs Park at 317 W. Court Street just behind the Guadalupe County Annex. Those attending should bring their own beverage and lawn chair.  Local restaurants donate hors d’oeuvres and jazz music will be provided by Shaakir.  The event is free and open to the public.  Donations are appreciated to offset the cost of the event. 

Special glasses will be for sold. 

The evening venue kicks off with the announcement of the Main Street Program Awards for 2011 along with other special recognition. 

The nine-member Main Street Advisory Board sponsors the event along with assistance from All Occasions Catering and two dozen generous restaurants, flower shops and volunteers.
