Description:

Moonlight and Roses will be held in the Memorial Rose Garden in Walnut Springs Park on April 20 from 7-9 p.m.  Walnut Springs Park is located at 317 W. Court Street.  Parking is available in the Guadalupe County Parking Garage, with access from 307 W. Court Street. Those attending should bring their own beverage and lawn chair.  Local restaurants donate hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music will be performed by Mike McGrew and Shaakir.  The event is free and open to the public.  Donations are appreciated to offset the cost of the event. 

Commemorative glasses for the dedication of Walnut Springs Park and Moonlight & Roses will be for sale.

Moonlight and Roses is held each year to bring attention to the beautiful Walnut Branch springs and creek and generate awareness and support for Walnut Springs Park. The evening venue includes the announcement of the Main Street Program Volunteer Downtowner of the Year.
