2012 Cops and Kids Picnic

Description:

The 2012 Cops and Kids Picnic will be held on May 19, 2012 at the large pavilion in Starcke Park.  There will be music, food, games, and snacks.  All children 12 and under will be given a free lunch.  A raffle will be held for a chance to win a bicycle!

Description:

The Seguin Police Department announces the Third Annual Cinderella Ball.  All Dads (or father figures) bring your princesses to enjoy a magical evening of dancing, laughter, and a walk on the red carpet.  Ticket pre-sale is from March 20-June 10th and the cost is $30.00 per couple and $10.00 for each additional princess.  After June 10th, the cost is $40.00 per couple and $10.00 each additional princess.  There are carriage rides available but the time slots are limited!

Biggest Small-town 4th of July Parade

On Wednesday, July 4 at 10 a.m. the Biggest Small-town 4th of July Parade in Texas begins with bands, military units, and many local and regional entries creating a continuous parade that runs for about two hours! Following the parade, many opt for the cooler temperatures at the air-conditioned Coliseum where the Mayor’s Luncheon is held. Entertainment and a traditional BBQ are the order of the day at the luncheon held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling 830-379-3212.

At dusk, the City of Seguin and HEB sponsor a spectacular fireworks display over the golf course at Starcke Park. This is Seguin’s biggest party of the year and friends, neighbors and visitors to the area are welcome to join in the fun.
